Why we do this

Not built to extract money. Built to be recommended.

Most software takes something from you. Your attention, your data, the subscription you meant to cancel back in March. We would rather charge a fair price and have people tell their friends. That is the standard for everything we make, and we are making several of them. Finvision is the first one, not the whole company.

How we build

Four rules the company runs on.

These are company rules, not app features. They bind everything we make, including the three products that do not exist yet. Anyone can write a list like this, so each one is shown working in Finvision, which is simply the only product we have shipped so far. If you think we have one of them wrong, write to us and we will change it.

Quiet on purpose

Nothing we build asks for attention it has not earned. Our software speaks when it has something you need to know and stays quiet the rest of the time. No streaks to keep alive, no reminders that exist to reopen the app, and every alert is yours to switch off one at a time.

Privacy you can trust

Your data stays on your device unless there is a real reason for it to move. Cloud is a decision we have to justify, not the starting point. When something does have to leave, we cut it down first and say what went.

AI on your terms

Wherever we use AI, it gets the least it can work with, we say plainly what leaves your device, and there is always a switch to turn it off. Nothing you write is used to train a model, in any product we make.

No dark patterns

We charge for what we make: pro tiers, B2B licences, developer seats. We do not run countdown timers on a trial, bury a cancel button, or sell data to make up for a low price. That holds for a €3 app and a company licence equally. When someone tells us we got it wrong, we fix it.

Who makes this

Two people, and we use it ourselves.

Vegarise started in 2023 as an attempt to change how people listen to music. Close to two years went into it. The idea held up fine; the size of it, for a company this small, did not.

In 2025 we started again with something smaller and more useful: a run of focused products, one at a time. Finvision came out of that. It is the first thing under this name we are happy to hand to a stranger, and our own budgets live in it.

We are a studio, and Finvision happens to be the one you can download today. Three more are in progress at different stages. Below we have listed them with the stage they are actually at, rather than a launch date we would only have to walk back.

  1. Finvision, the Home screen

    One number, kept current

    Left to spend tells you what you can use today without wrecking the rest of the month. You do not have to read a chart to work it out.

  2. Finvision, the Budget screen

    It will tell you no

    If a purchase does not fit, Finvision says so and shows what it would cost the rest of your month. Most money apps stay quiet and let you find out later.

  3. Finvision, the Goals screen

    Say what you are saving for. Finvision works out when you get there at the rate you are actually saving, not the rate you hoped for.

    Penny can talk through your numbers with you. She gets amounts and nothing else, and there is a switch in settings that turns her off for good.

  • What does Vegarise actually build?

    Software for three groups: people going about an ordinary day, teams who need internal tools that are not miserable to use, and developers. Finvision is the only one you can download so far. The rest are at earlier stages and we say which stage on the site.

  • Is your software really private?

    Yes. Anything personal, such as a Finvision ledger, stays on the device by default. Where AI is involved, as with Penny inside Finvision, we send amounts and nothing else. No shop names, no notes, and we say plainly what leaves the phone.

  • Do you charge subscriptions?

    For some things, yes. Consumer apps usually have a free core with an optional pro tier, and B2B and developer products are licensed. What we do not do is run countdown timers on a trial, send notifications to fake engagement, or sell data to prop up a low price.

  • Where can I get Finvision?

    It is on the App Store. Search for "Finvision: Budget & AI Finance". The download is free, it runs on iPhone and iPad with iOS 17.6 or later, and it is available in 22 languages. There is a longer walkthrough at finvision.vegarise.io.

  • What is next after Finvision?

    More consumer apps in the same direction, a couple of B2B ideas we are testing, and some early developer tooling. We work slowly, and we would rather show you something late than announce it early and miss.
